The Plantation Rum is produced at the West Indies Rum Distillery Jamaica: Long Pond and is a blend of 1-3 year old rums from Barbados and old High Ester rums from Jamaica (10-15 years old). The final blend is then stored for 3-6 months in small used FERRAND French oak barrels in the cool cellars of Chateau du Bonbonnet in Cognac.

The bouquet is fruity, spicy and harmonious with hints of black peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon, baked cherries and prunes. Later also black tea and wood.

Palate: pleasantly fruity at the beginning with light grapes and dried pineapple. In the course increasingly dry and spicy with vanilla and pepper. A charming, spicy-sweet finish.
