Plantation Rum is produced at the West Indies Rum Distillery Jamaica: Long Pond and is a blend of 1-3 year old rums from Barbados and old high ester rums from Jamaica (10-15 years old).
The final blend was then aged for 3-6 months in small used FERRAND barrels made of French oak in the cool cellars of Chateau de Bonbonnet in Cognac.

The bouquet is fruity, spicy, and harmonious with hints of black peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon, baked cherries, and prunes. Later, black tea and wood also emerge.

Palate: Pleasantly fruity at the beginning with bright grapes and dried pineapple. It gradually becomes drier and spicier with vanilla and pepper.
A charming, spicy-sweet finish.
